Beef Shares- Jarosinski Farm

Jarosinski Farms is excited to offer beef quarters through Penn's Corner for the fourth time.  Jarosinski Farms strives to raise their Angus crossed steer beef to the highest standard of excellence in animal welfare.  These calves receive non-sprayed forages as well as their natural milk for the first few months of their life. Once they mature from milk, they are fed a small amount of GMO-Free grains raised on farm to help transition their protein management from milk to a pure forage diet.  They finish out their year and a half grazing on non-sprayed pastures and hay forage. Jarosinski Farms takes pride in that they have never and will never use any types of antibiotic, added hormones, or steroids in their small herd. Their beef is harvested in the fall and sent to a family owned butcher shop that is USDA approved and inspected.  Jarosinski Farms promises their customers that their beef never comes in contact with fillers, dyes, or synthetic additions during the harvesting process.    

To place an order please email [email protected] If you would like to only get half of a quarter let me know and I will try to pair you up with another customer. A $200 deposit will be required and can be paid via check, cash or credit card. Your beef will then be available for pickup on October 13 between 3pm and 6pm from the Penn’s Corner warehouse at 150 54th Street Pittsburgh 15201. Orders must be in by October 10.  

BEEF QUARTERS- About 110 lbs. take home weight. $8.71/lb

The following is a general expectation of what you will receive.  Variation in size of the beef may alter the list slightly:

·  (6) Chuck Roasts 3-4 lbs. each

·  (1) Shoulder Roast 3-4 lbs. each

·  (1) Rump Roast 3-4 lbs. each

·  (2) Sirloin Tip Roast 2-3 lbs. each

·  (4) 1 lb. Pkgs. Beef Tips (Stew Cubes)

·  (4) 1 lb. Pkgs. Delmonico Steaks (Rib-Eye)

·  (4) 1 lb. Pkgs. T-Bones (New York & Filet are together on T-Bone)

·  (3) 1 lb Pkgs. Sirloin Steaks

·  (2) 1 lb. Pkgs. of 3 Cube Steaks

·  (2) 1 lb. Pkgs. Round Steaks

·  (1) 2 lb. Beef Brisket

·  (2) Pkgs. Short Ribs 2-3 lbs. each

·  35-40 lbs. Premium Ground Chuck in approximately 1 lb. pkgs.

·  (1) Bag of Soup Bones about 5 lbs.    

·  Organ meats available upon request free of charge while supplies last
