Grassfed Beef
Penn's Corner is pleased to offer Grassfed Beef Shares from Clarion River Organics! The cows are raised on an organic pasture and fed an all grass diet, supplemented in the winter with organic hay. The cows are a cross between Limousin and Angus breed, which are known for their ability to turn pure grass into delicious beef. These animals are raised using no growth hormones or antibiotics.
Berkshire Pork
Order half of a Berkshire hog through Penn's Corner! Logan Family Farms and Pleasant Valley Swine raise a heritage breed of hog called Berkshire, which is one of the oldest breeds of pig and can be traced back over 350 years! The meat from this breed is very high quality and is valued all around the world by restaurants and consumers alike.
Lamb Shares
Penn’s Corner Farm Alliance lamb shares are 100% grass-fed spring lambs from Pucker Brush Farm in Shelocta, PA. Pasture raised and free range, these lambs are known for their exceptional taste! They are hormone-free and antibiotic-free. They will be about 35 - 55 lbs hanging weight per lamb.
Turkeys
Penn's Corner is selling holiday Turkeys again this year from Schmucker Family Farm in Emlenton PA. The turkeys are free range, pastured, antibiotic and hormone free, and are fed GMO-free feed. The birds will be frozen when we pick them up, we will begin defrosting them for you so they are ready for you to use on Thanksgiving! The turkeys are $4.62/lb and will wiegh 10-22lbs. If you have a size preference please let us know and we will do our best to accomodate (although size requests are not guaranteed).
