Vacation Holds
We understand there may be some weeks where you will need to put your share on hold because you will be unable to get it. All vacation hold requests must be submitted by Thursdays at 5pm for the following week!
Members are allowed three vacation holds per year. Please follow these steps to place your share on hold:
- Login to your Account
- Once you are logged in, click on Subscriptions, on the left hand side of your screen (you should be on your account information page).
- Click on the subscription you would like to put on hold (please note if you have any add on shares you will need to put those on hold as well!)
- Click on Put Subscription on Hold
- Enter the date range you would like your share to be on hold. The first date in the range should be the Thursday prior to the week you would like your share on hold and the last date in the range should be the last day you want your share on hold. For instance, if you want your share held for April 24th, enter the range April 18th-April 24th. Please note, all customer holds must be submitted by Thursdays at 5pm! Any customer who places a hold after the deadline will not be entitled to a makeup share.
- If you need to request a vacation hold less than 7 days in advance (but still within the deadline!) you must email [email protected].
Customers who place their hold on time have a couple of options to make up a share they miss. You can elect to receive a double share (two boxes) with your next CSA delivery. You can also chose to use the value of that week’s share as a credit on our Online Farm Stand (read more about the farm stand below). Please note, the Farm Stand is not available at every location. If you have a biweekly share you can elect to receive your share on an off week.
You must email [email protected] immediately after placing your vacation hold to inform us of how you would like to makeup your share.
